Wherefore Come out From Among Them and Be Separate, and then and only then will I receive you

Paul uses this text in II Corinthians 6:17
as a word of encouragement which echoes Gods ultimate system and plan throughout history.
God calls you out, to follow him.
This in an area that modern Christianity has opted to leave, rather than teach it.
A few weeks back we mentioned the fear of God, that was present in the new testament church, and for that message we used Act 20 as the main text, which says that Preached the whole counsel of God, Faith, Healing which includes deliverance for there is no such ministry as a deliverance ministry, it is part of a whole, he preached on the blessings of servant hood, stewardship of finances, in 1st and 2nd Corinthians 9, he preached Christ death burial, and resurrection, He preached about hell and everlasting judgment, notice I said everlasting and not eternal, Sanctification. The whole lot.
In the same way I believe we need to touch everything that pertains to the Kingdom of God.

The area I am led to deal with is the calling out, because before you can move into Gods blessing you must first come out.
In fact the church today has people in it of various categories, some who have not moved, those who are in the process, and those that have come out of the world.
One of the main reasons why we see little progress in our lives, many problems, whether financial, family, ect you name it, we lack the power of God, I believe today I have one of the answers.
Remember the bible says my people are destroyed for the lack of Knowledge, not of General Knowledge because you can win Mastermind, or one of the other quizzes and still be in problems.
The people of God are being destroyed for the lack of knowledge of God.
But the truth shall set you free.

A few years ago we bought an audio copying machine, it copies tapes in two minutes, first of all you put the original or the master copy in, and I must of got it muddled up, so I must of used a copy of a copy, which was faulty, so all the tapes I had copied were faulty because I did not use the original, or the Master in technical terms.
So I had to start from scratch.
Wherefore Come out From Among Them and Be Separate, and then and only then will I receive you
Could it be that the Christianity we have today is a copy of a copy….Maybe that is the reason why there are so many floors in it.
But I`m going back to the original copy, which will produce the same things as the Master, or the original.
The same power and potency of the original Gospel
The calling out; not enough Christians have made this journey fully.
Genesis 12:1-3
Abrahams first visitation of God, there is not any conversation, about in time you will lose the desire to be with your idol worshiping family, give it time slowly but surely, in the mean time give me your prayer request.
Get out from your family and Country to a land where I will show you. No discussion needed God has spoken
Thank God Abraham was not like these modern Christians.
"Then after coming out Abraham this is what I am going to do for you……..I am going to make you a great nation….I am going to make you famous without going on big brother, any other celebrity show.
In fact you will be the cornerstone of three world religions Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.
You and your children will be a blessing to many, such as Einstein, Karl Marx,Vladimir Lenin, troxky, and many great minds but the greatest will be Jesus.
People that bless you I will Bless, People that curse you I will curse."

So God does not just call you out and leave you hanging there, he calls you out to bring you into a better place.
There has to be a shifting from where you are to a better place, there has to be a transition.
Abraham believed God, how do we know this, is it possible to see faith…Yes in the book of Mark 2:5 " when Jesus saw there faith" How did Jesus see their faith, by there actions.
How do we know that Abraham believed God! By his actions he obeyed God and left everything behind him, so he could move fully into what God had for him.
Many people say they have faith and believe God but there actions say no to God.
The Call is very important, someone can invite you to church but you must have the individual call of God.
Jesus say`s, emphatically that " no man can truly come to me except my father draws him.

Ownership
This is another area we will cover in the call of God, God wants ownership, not part ownership absolute, many miss the point that Abraham was giving his life over to God, his former life was around his family, his land, their culture which expressed itself in Idol worship, with
their feast days, and their offerings to the Idols. That was now the old Abram, in fact that was his Chaldean name, God changed it to Abraham.
This is the gospel, in fact Paul says that God preached the gospel to Abraham in Galatians.
Abraham left the old life behind him.
This is such a powerful message I do not think that one week will give it justice, but I will give you a taster this week.
There is power in words, if God anoints these words to your heart, they will change your life.
Its not easy to leave, old ties and attachments, but God wants complete ownership.
II Corinthians 6:17 -18 "Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you."
18 "I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the LORD Almighty."

God wants possession, Lets rephrase this message…..When you leave your old life and come out of the lifestyle……God deals with the lifestyle first, then and only then will I accept you into my family.
There are so many problems when children are adopted, and then want to find there genetic parents. And when they discover them they have both of them ,it is confusion, God will not share parentage.
But I will say this without hesitation, I would rather The Lord as my Parent than an earthly one.
Again we are back into relationship, when you have this you then can reap the benefits.
In find it said that when I read through the pages of the bible, there are only few that realise this.
Hold this thought about Abraham and I will show you another example of calling out.

When God raised up Moses to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt , the messaged was to Pharaoh let my people go, so they may worship me, and make a feast unto me.
It is interesting that they could not fully worship God where they were.
Because as bad as it was, they had food, and clothing, leaks and pomegranates.
Yet God called them out into a dry wilderness.
They had to leave Egypt, the exit was glorious but they did not press into Gods best.
Before we Go on let us apply it to today
What do we leave behind, our lifestyle, our old man or woman
Some excitable preachers say we must just leave sin behind and follow Jesus!
Is it that easy ? Is this what it means to come out, from Romans 7
Paul the great apostle gives us the impression that it is not so easy.
No Initially the first thing God deal with is your lifestyle, your old friends, and social groups you moved in, the places you went, the nightclubs, the pubs, Bingo for our older members, Lottery, yoga ect.
The sin is in us as we move away from these things The Lord deals with us through the Holy Spirit.
Some Christians are so simplistic, leave sin behind they say, no it is a process.

Many never experience the full deliverance because they have not left fully the old lifestyle.

First of all God dealt with Abrahams ungodly ties, then later on and I say a lot later on he said walk before me and be Perfect. SALVATION IS A PROCESS.
SANCTIFICATION IS ONGOING.
Call and response
Isaiah 6: Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
"Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?"
Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."
Isaiah received a call and he responded, after such a marvelous visitation.
Mark 1: 16And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 17Then Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men." 18They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
Wherefore Come out From Among Them and Be Separate, and then and only then will I receive you
There was no modern teaching then on take your time, come to a few services, stay as you are, stay in your Job, we will work around your situation!

Mark 1: 19When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets. 20And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him.
This is the system…God calls us we respond….then faith begins to grow from the outset.
Luke 9; 59Then He said to another, "Follow Me."
But he said, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father."
60Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."
61And another also said, "Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house."
62But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

The response in the new testament was Immediate and there were consequences, and sacrifices that had to be made, But the Blessings far outweigh the sacrifices.

Back To Abraham

Abraham left every thing behind to follow the Lord, could you Imagine some of the negative responses he could have received from friends and family, could you Imagine this event that no one really considers. He is called out by God into the wilderness, and as a result he begins to experiences famine, things do not just get a little tight but he experiences famine, close to starvation, as a result he has to go to Egypt, and lodge there for a while, where was God in the famine, he could of argued, God you called me out of my family now I am suffering.
But God was on the Job
My brothers and sisters, there is nothing wrong with suffering for a season, or experiencing lack, or a few of lifes struggles and disappointments

So Abraham goes to Egypt, but to me Egypt is no mare than a filling station, he goes there empty, and as a result of great famine, now let us read

Genesis 13: 1Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South. 2Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold. 3And he went on his journey from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, 4to the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the LORD.

What initially seemed as a great trial turned out to be a blessing to Abraham

When God called the Jews out of Egypt he sent plagues, and when they left Egypt they took spoils, silver and gold, and expensive Garments. They also left rich, they had so much Gold they could make a solid Gold statue of a calf.

If you will trust him, if you truly have surrendered everything to follow him, you will see supernatural provision. Healing and blessing in your life, again it is about relationship.
